… to collect my spectacles. The lenses from the broken specs have been exchanged for a pair with an old prescription. This was fine-tuned while a Bredonborough-conversation of the friendly kind was underway. The optician told me of his training in Newcastle, although he was a local man, learnt something of the music industry’s innately-corrupt nature in return, and passed over the spectacles – without charge.

Back to draft an important e-letter, sent hopefully to broker an end to dissensions in the major non-industrial dispute presently underway.

Tasty lunch, returning to the draft letter and mass launderising.

18.05    Local pals are coming for dinner.

21.45    Lotsa fun and great MinxFood.
